Ground floor. The communist-era story of forced industrialization in 12 themes — from the planned economy to the industrialization of Satu Mare.

Everyday life under communism
First floor. Daily life under the regime: job assignment and commuting, the working woman, the apartment block, shortages and queues.

The border crossers
First floor. A dark room about those who tried to cross the border illegally — lights, warnings and fear, reconstructed.

The commuters' wagon
First floor. A reconstructed commuters' train car — crowding, exhaustion, and a life lived between factory and village.

The workshop
First floor. A reconstructed factory machine shop — machine tools, slogans on the walls, the smell and disorder of labour.
